Why hire a coach?
Our coaching experience has taught us that well-coached athletes improve faster and that the coach-athlete relationship that develops from long-term coaching helps individuals reach their athletic potential.
Working with a coach is one of the best ways to maximize your training and ultimately improve your race performance. While most experienced athletes have an idea of their strengths and weaknesses and what type of training methods tend to work from them, even experienced athletes can get bogged down with work, family and trying to manage and properly train for three sports at the same time.
Working with a coach will not only help the athlete organize and maximize each training session, but will also help the athlete avoid the big three training pitfalls of injury, overtraining and self-doubt.

How our coaching works
Premier Triathlon Coaching $150/ Month
Designed for the athlete who desires personal "high touch" coaching.
• One hour consultation with coach to determine goals, background,
availability to train, etc.
• Custom designed heart rate based training program, based on the
information you provide.
•Your coach reviews your program and heart rate files weekly and
adjusts your program accordingly.
•Because our training plans are delivered online, we are able to
change your plan "on the fly," due to changes in your work
schedule, family, etc.
•Premium Training Peaks online training account.
•Unlimited contact with your coach by phone or email.
•Coach initiated contact with athlete as needed; however, athlete
initiated contact is encouraged.
1.You decide which coaching option best meets your needs.
2.You fill out the athletic history questionnaire.
3.We review your athletic history and speak with you if necessary.
4.We design your training program based on your fitness
background, goals, and availability to train.
5.We set up your Training Peaks on line training account.
6.Your workouts are emailed to you daily.
7.We determine your heart rate training zones.
8.We incorporate into your training program all swim, bike and run
training including appropriate strength training and nutritional
strategies.
9.We monitor your training and make adjustments as appropriate.
10.You contact your coach as often as you need.
Maintenance Triathlon Coaching $50/Month
Designed for the self-coached athlete who desires a professionally designed program with some guidance from a coach.
This program is also appropriate for athletes who are in the off season and want to maintain fitness with guidance from a coach until the next base or build phase.

•Your training program is delivered one month at time.
•Your coach reviews your training program each month.
•Basic Training Peaks online training account.
•Unlimited athlete initiated contact with your coach by email.

Triathlon 101 4-Month Program $75/Month
Designed for the entry level triathlete. With this program you will get everything you need for a successful first triathlon at the Sprint or Olympic distance.
You get the following group/one-on-one training from your coach:
1. One hour swim evaluation (swim practice one day per week for
additional $20/month).
2. Bike handling/cycling clinic covering topics which include: shifting,
braking, cornering, group riding, riding in traffic, changing a flat, etc.
3. Nutrition clinic: everything you need to know to fuel your training and
racing.
4. Transition clinic.
5. Open water swim training and practice.
6. Opportunity to train with coach and other athletes at various runs and
rides during the week.
You also get
• One hour consultation with coach to determine your background,
availability to train, etc.
• Your training program is delivered one month at time and reviewed
by your coach often.
• Your coach reviews your training program often.
• Basic Training Peaks online training account.
• Unlimited athlete initiated contact with your coach by email.
Marathon Coaching $75/Month
Designed for the entry level or intermediate athlete training for a marathon or half marathon.
•One hour consultation with coach to determine goals, background,
availability to train, etc.
•Custom designed heart rate based training program.
•Your coach reviews your program every two weeks and
adjusts your program accordingly.
•Basic Training Peaks online training account.
•Unlimited athlete initiated contact with your coach by phone or
email.
