Take your training and racing to the next level! Our coaching is based on both science and practical knowledge that comes from real world triathlon experience.

Working with a coach is one of the best ways to maximize your training and ultimately improve your race performance. While most experienced athletes have an idea of their strengths and weaknesses and what type of training methods tend to work from them, even experienced athletes can get bogged down with work, family and trying to manage and properly train for three sports at the same time.

Working with a coach will not only help the athlete organize and maximize each training session, but will also help the athlete avoid the big three training pitfalls of injury, overtraining and self-doubt.

Our goal is to teach every athlete we coach how to maximize health, fitness and athletic performance without sacrificing work, family and overall life balance.

Weekly Coached Training Sessions

All weekly training is included in all coaching plans. Our workouts vary based on up-coming races and athlete needs, and subject to change through out the year. For details on any of our workouts please contact us!

Tuesday's
Ride South Mountain, 5:00am SHARP
Meet at second guard shack

Swim practice at ASU SRC pool 6:30PM.
400 E Apache Blvd, Tempe.
Drop in fee of $20/month or $10 per day.

Wednesday's
Tempo run/ hill repeats.
Tempe Beach Park, Rio Salado & Ash Ave.

Saturday's
Long Ride

Performance Triathlon Coaching

Performance Coaching is for the athlete that understands and desires the benefits of working directly with a professional triathlon coach and who wants "full-service" coaching. This program is best for athletes that have consistent work and personal schedules. Athletes that anticipate they will need frequent changes to there training schedule due to work and family obligations should consider Premier Triathlon Coaching.

Your coach will first asses your background to determine your fitness level, strengths & weaknesses, availability to train, goals, etc. Then a customized training plan will be designed to meet your training and racing goals. In your plan design, your coach will take into account factors such as the time you have to train and your work and family schedule. Your plan can be adjusted monthly.

Benefits of Performance Triathlon Coaching:
  • Detailed & personalized heart rate or power based training plan
  • Training plan delivered via Training Peaks online training log
  • Plan modified monthly as needed
  • Triathlon specific strength training program
  • Informal workouts with your coach that may include bike rides, strength training or open water swims

Premier Triathlon Coaching

The Premier Coaching plan is designed for the athlete who desires personal "high touch" coaching for any race from Sprint to Ironman. With Premier Coaching, your progress is monitored by your coach and your coach will give you consistent feedback and make adjustments in your training as necessary. Because our training plans are delivered online, we are able to change your plan "on the fly," due to changes in your work schedule, family, etc.

Your coach will first asses your background to determine your fitness level, injury history, strengths & weaknesses, time availability to train, race goals, etc. Then a customized training plan will be designed to meet your training and racing goals. In your plan design, your coach will take into account factors such as the time you have to train and your work and family schedule.

Unlimited phone calls with your coach (usually by appointment) and emails are also included in this plan.

Benefits of Premier Triathlon Coaching:
  • Detailed & personalized heart rate based or power based training program
  • Training plan delivered via Training Peaks online training log
  • Training programmed monitored by coach and adjusted as necessary
  • Triathlon specific strength training program

Running & Cycling Coaching

Running and Cycling Coaching is for the athlete that desires a personalized training plan, for any event including a half marathon, marathon, ultra marathon or a cycling "century ride."

We will send you a questioner to determine your athletic background; a customized training plan will be designed to meet your training and racing goals. In your plan design, your coach will take into account factors such as the time you have to train and your work and family schedule. Your plan can be adjusted monthly.

Benefits of Running & Cycling Coaching:
  • Detailed & personalized heart rate based training plan
  • Training plan delivered via Training Peaks online training log
  • Plan modified up to twice monthly as needed
  • Strength training program
  • Informal workouts with your coach that may include runs, bike rides, or swim workouts as cross training.
  • Unlimited contact with your coach via email.

Lactate Threshold Testing

Test is designed to determine Lactate threshold heart rate (LTHR). Once LTHR is determined, we will determine your heart rate training zones (Zone 1 through Zone 5c).

Bike test on Computrainer.
Fee: $ 65

Run testing on track or treadmill.
Fee: $49

Nutrition Counseling

One-on-one consultation for recommendations on nutrition/hydration strategies for triathlon training and racing.
Fee: $49




Transition Skill Development

Transitions are "free time." We will give you a personal "clinic" on how be as efficient as possible during transitions. We will teach you how to properly use the most effective equipment and techniques.

Additionally, you will work one-on-one with a coach and actually go through race simulated transitions using your own gear so we can help you get everything right. This usually takes about 1-1.5 hours, and you'll get a good workout!

Fee: $79




Personal Coaching and Consultation

If you need help with a particular workout or need consultation on training plan review or modification, or anything else; in person or by phone. Prior to consultation, coach may request athlete forward history of training, racing, injuries, etc., (fee does not start until actual consultation begins).

Fee: $49/per hour

  2. Mail completed documents (please let us know if you have any questions).
  3. Pay for your requested services with debit/credit card at the PayPal button below, or include check with your documents. Fill in a "custom payment" for whatever the appropriate amount should be.
